would help if their website had at least a route map of where they flew. I found it very odd how that site is set up, and we have corp clients who want/wanted to fly them to in and out of BDL I also was dismayed that they never promoted their areas of service with a map of any kind. But from its in...Jump to post
This would eliminate a good reason to fly from 'small town' airports as it ends the ease of security by not having to do it at a big hub, if connectingaHope it fades away as an idea.Jump to post
Too bad. I was hoping that this would be a decent thing, but I guess one can't force people to fly lol. At least the parties involved gave it a go and actually used the SCASD $$ unlike so many that seem to get grant, but nothing seems to come of it. Now where to place the extra plane 4B will have? S...Jump to post
I think a worse example of being the same but different were CO UA and Frontier in mid/late 70s all with same designer. Only difference was aft section and colors. So very unoriginal IMO.Jump to post
It is 50%. I would think LNK would be better served getting a non-network carrier (although Allegiant did try)but proximity to OMA would probably end that before it would start. So business, govt, and N would be about only reliable sources of continual traffic. Therefore, about only one to want to t...Jump to post
4B (boutique air) PHX-SOW is just extension of current services. Nothing of note here.Jump to post
LOL and only 1/30th the amount.
I love to see some of these dead on arrival ideas some of these ideas places think have a shot.
I hope Alpine TX tries to get $$ to have someone fly a 206 from MAF on Tuesdays so I can go there a couple of times haha.
As a question stated with an 'ever' , the only answer is maybe, maybe not. End of story. I am sure that with the overly worded analysis that repeats itself incessantly with your posts of the past, you damn well know the answer that there isn't much there to serve. Although, I wish WN would get into ...Jump to post
Mentioned earlier was assumption of AM dep from coast and mid day dep from HI. W/O red eyes, I would lv HI 0800 arr on coast for connections further east made easier. Then lv coast at 600p arr HI late 8-930p. Makes connections from interior US better.Don't know if it'd be good or not, but offer more...Jump to post
Just as a funny anecdote, I saw an article last week in a Dodge City news article about the EAS selection of Boutique Air to Denver and they mentioned a "co-chair" agreement with United.!! LOL I saw that as well. Got a decent chuckle from it. I am still in favor of the EAS program, althou...Jump to post

So how many MAX start tomorrow?
At least Swoop is still an aviation/flight/bird related word. Some others aren't. I'm surprised now that SIA went for Scoot when Swoop wasn't in use yet... Why not call a Canadian ULCC "Can_do"? Then base fares can be called No Can Do and full fares can be called We Can Do... LOL so is 'C...Jump to post

Frontier isn't looking for high yield traffic.
BOI-DEN will be a one year IMO. I seriously doubt it will return for 2019s 'season'. Times are terrible. Arr BOI just before 8pm hour and returns to DEN at 10:35pm. TuThSu. I can't really see any high yield traffic for this. Between UA and WN, there are 6 IIRC flights/ weekday. Or for those who like...Jump to post
Looking at BOI-DEN schedule, and all I can say is this would appear to me to be a short-lived stint in BOI lol. TuThSu thru the timeframe, and an 8:35p dep, arr in DEN at 10:35pm. Unless it sells for $20 bucks, terrible option. Yes, lots of F9's times are terrible. For example, they are switching D...Jump to post
Here is Boise State heading to Pullman (via Lewiston) to play Washington State.
Well, WN has not been through BK, so that statement is false. They should have done a bit more homework on lower 48 flying. They should have just stayed up in their area with what they know. I really felt that they were a breath of fresh air for these cities after going through the Great Lakes BS. H...Jump to post
As everyone knows, PenAir (KS) decided to end their EAS service out of their Denver hub, and now have the date. Never mind what they said they would do, stay until replaced. But wait, they also said that they would actually honor the contract since they bid for it lol. Funny how they say unforeseen ...Jump to post
Having been thru STL many times since 1995, just some observations: 1. Had the absolute WORST KFC experience of my life at the one that was on Concourse D ( now across from high E gates). Was never so happy to see when it was removed. 2. Somewhat sad to see old aged carpet removed from the renovated...Jump to post
Now anyone can come in, go thru security, go to the RiteAid in the AirMall and purchase the 6" scissors that I saw there for sale last time I was there.
Then, go out of security and try to bring them back through. See if it works lol. With a receipt of course..
Hears a question for anyone that may know the answer. There is a lot of Speculation that WN was planning Before Harvey hit Texas to announce that they are going to switch to ETOPS 800MAX. With deliveries for First quarter of 2018 to be able to start proving runs to Hawaii. The question is how far o...Jump to post
So this will be the third time OO has served Moab IIRC. I thought that the runway there was still 'too inadequate" for CRJs, hence the reason SkyWest left last time after 120s left? Have they upgraded the current runway? Happy to see these locations get air service that is more connected to the...Jump to post
This is going to be a REALLY bad storm because it's forecast to move so slowly - almost unprecedented for a major storm in the US at least in the last 50 years. Expect lots of delays and cancellations. Not just Houston's airports, but Corpus Christi, Harlingen, McAllen and maybe some others I'd exp...Jump to post
I liked ONT back in the old terminal days. Walking up rear stairs of a PSA 727 was great. And chances are they are not marketing themselves to everyone in America, so it doesn't really matter if Joe Blow in Syracuse doesn't know where it is. Marketing is done for the local folks. Have you seen any H...Jump to post
Good day to be a Clevelander.. LOL , that is something probably said by almost no one ever... But seriously, I cannot see STL DTW or CLE (especially with 2) doing gangbusters. Perhaps it is just my perception of the areas, as well as many many Americans and Europeans I dare to guess. Having been to...Jump to post
Certainly not a very business friendly schedule. Guess that is not quite what they are after I would hope since whole scheduled day ( 2 rt) runs between 9am and 4pm. Wish it success Looks like they are going for day-trippers in both directions. Only if their day consists of a one hour day of action...Jump to post

Well this should drastically cut number of pax on SMX run I would imagine. I couldn't imagine O & D between SMX-BUR being that high, and also would assume majority did connect at LAX. I really can't imagine anyone flying to BUR, xferring to LAX and then fly on from there. And BUR really has very...Jump to post
For those getting unnecessarily testy discussing where the terminal will go, I created a composite graphic a while back using Google's aerial imagery and the drawings from one of the developer's permit applications. The exact building plans have changed a bit since then, but I believe the rough siz...Jump to post
Just curious what normal flights will follow the path of the eclipse (mostly)? There must be a few, anything like Portland to Charleston, Seattle to Nashville? Quite a few will also cross the path of it too. No flight can keep up with it of course as the shadow moves at 1200knts across the ground. ...Jump to post
LOL they show a CRJ 200 with an over wing exit. Guess they don't quite know what they want. :) I dunno, that exit looks pretty close to the original if you ask me.. :sarcastic: 1234189 Martijn LOL I realized my error too late to edit it. American Eagle did offer CYS-DFW nonstop for a short time a few years ago. Reason for the added temporary secured area of terminal. Guess loads were well south of what was hoped for , so it was eliminated. I also have thought a SLC flight would be a decent option. Or perhaps a DL?OO SLC-CYS-MSP rout...Jump to post
