Quite an album .. some achingly beautiful moments throughout.
Not a strictly “country” album, it’s more folksy/country/bluesy than anything she’s done.
Better than “Lemonade,” imho.
What do you folks think?

I swear I looked at several sources and this is, alas, true.
Customers could pay $1 more for a sandwich like the Baconator during the lunch rush, for example.
A little navel-gazing this morning (and a bump for this thread): Now that Breeze has announced new routes out of CVG (including the newest to SAN), does that change anyone’s view on how that impacts MX flights from SDF (Louisville/Muhammad Ali)? At one time I expected flights to San Diego and Seattl...
Jump to postAnybody do a post mortum? Were other flights able to keep operating. Were passengers booked to transfer in MDW accommodated on other transfers. How long did it take to clear MDW When we arrived to MDW on Xmas Eve, it looked like the old EWR “bus station” terminal from PeoplExpress days. People were...
Jump to postCurrently at MDW rescheduled to MSP from yesterday. Our flight kept on getting pushed back and was canceled about 15 minutes prior to boarding. I could’ve sworn I noticed a twinkle in the eye of the gate agent cheerfully announcing that weather-related delays weren’t subject to compensation. :santah...
Jump to postAF1 landed at SFO about 30 minutes ago. Air Force KC-135 is still doing laps https://www.flightradar24.com/32d5bb86 I got pics of both AF1 and Chairman Xi’s Air China 747-800 as I was waiting for a WN flight. Seem to be doing fine there.

Contour started flights to ORD from Owensboro on August 1 (12 flights/ week), as part of EAS program.
Much better than Charlotte, imo.

Will they serve alcohol?? Is it that necessary? Surely someone can go 10-12 hours without alcohol… Nicer to not have pax nearby who are inebriated and an airline with strict standards all the better for those of us who want a peaceful flight. With the exception of those who intentionally abstain fo...
Jump to postMy biggest complaint about the Nicest seats are that they are really difficult to get in and out of from the window side. There’s not a lot of space there, especially when the seat in front is reclined.
Jump to postFWIW, I got an email today from WN, stating that my flight on Tuesday should operate as scheduled.
Also, checking random departures last night from SDF, I noticed an 8000-numbered flight going to BNA (normally no scheduled flights b/t the two).
I absolutely believe that network of cities surrounding Cincy played a major role in obtaining this flight, as TheLion stated above.
Jump to postFlew Piedmont from Louisville to DCA as a young thing in the 70s a fair amount seeing family. Distinctly remember getting a fantastic shrimp Louie salad for a flight < 2 hours.
In economy.
Yes, there is exactly one 1-stop flight from SFO connecting through DEN, which arrives at 0030. You’re in luck from OAK, though! There is a 0545 flight thru MDW *and* the aforementioned DEN flight, all at astronomical prices. However, if one leaves on Saturday, there’s an embarrassment of 1-stop fli...
Jump to postInterestingly enough, the flight I was on from SFO-SDF had quite a few passengers from a canceled SFO-CHS flight.
Jump to postIt makes even more sense when the F seats aren't truly First Class. If there's no hot meal service, continuous drink and snack service and IFE, it's typically a better value to travel in Y+ than Big Front Seat+. As of the fares I’m seeing now (on Breeze), the price diff b/t Nicer and Nicest is arou...
Jump to postFrankly, I don’t care about a domestic first class product when I get a nonstop to SDF out of SFO with a large comfortable seat…for a price that is $200 cheaper than WN ( which now has only one 1-stop flight thru DEN, arriving at 0030)!

Last minute Aircraft swap. Airbus hasn’t been able to deliver spare parts like they are supposed to, so the 220 fleet has been experiencing a lower reliability rate. At one point in the last two weeks 3 or 4 of the 7 planes were down for maintenance. Not doubting you but interestingly enough the pi...
Jump to postFlying back to SFO tomorrow from SDF. Got an email from Breeze at 0120 this morning saying that the flight will have to make a fuel stop on the way for about 45 minutes total extra time (no city specified). Jump to postFlew back to SDF yesterday on Breeze nonstop from SFO in Nicest seats. Paid about $600 RT while WN wanted almost $800 (!!!) with hardly any routings without 2 stops. Jump to postThought it might get lost in the larger B6 thread, but do you prognosticators have any predictions for B6 (née NK) at SDF (assuming they’ll still fly there)? Continue LAX, LAS? Jump to postTrust me, no one is going to scurry off to OAK or SJC for this, Mary. Quit the San Francisco bashing.
Jump to postAnyone know whether there were any special celebrations at SDF for the SFO nonstops? Thought there might be a cake, etc. since it seemed to be a big deal when announced.
Jump to postI’m sitting on a WN flight at PHX to OAK right now and they announced we’re waiting for 22 connecting passengers that need on our flight.
Except they’re all on flights waiting for a gate to open.
Lol, I have family there so it’s personal
Jump to postRe: AirTrain station for Harvey Milk Terminal One… are there plans to open the prior station or will it always be combined with Int’l Terminal A gates (I do notice the de-construction going on)?
It’s quite a schlep from there to TSA, and another schlep to actual gates.

A little surprised that SDF isn’t on that list.
