According to an interview with their CEO, flights to the US will commence on their own metal about 18 months after they commence operations (due to regulatory conditions, etc). Before that they plan on codesharing with another airline.

American Airlines is the largest operater of the Airbus 300 in the world with 34 of them. At one point, they were also the largest operater of the Fokker 100 with 75 examples, I believe.

Delta Air Lines owns both Comair and ASA. As previously noted, its not the actual mainline airline operating "Express" (or Connection) flights. It is subsidiary or contracted partner airlines doing the flying.
