Re: American Eagle's plan for the future.

There are at least 5 unpainted E140s floating around. (4 were at DFW B gates yesterday and one was in the maintenance/spares area on the SW B ramp.) I'm a bit surprised that AA/MQ did not plan to have these painted after they left ABI, but at least the interiors are redone. (Though the unpainted on...

Why not go to DTW where rebooking pax to their final destination should be easier?

DTW must be busy as well. They are handling diversions as well. MSP probably.

Word on the street is, Compass will not renew the contract with AA and go completely to DL. Just out of pure curiosity, what took (to me) such a long time between the damage and repair? Was it due to the nature of the event or more making sure it was repairable? They probably had to get approval from Airbus to do any major repairs to the aircraft and any parts if necessary. I wonder if pa...

Re: Skywest retire all ExpressJet CRJs; contract more CR7s to AA; Settle CRJ residual value dispute w/BBD

As odious as the CR1/CR2 are for flights much longer than an hour, a fleet of 98 50-seaters seems too small for the overall DL network given the number of smaller markets which are served. What about the E145? Aren't there still some of those flying for DL? I think the only E145's that Expressjet f...

I would be STUNNED if we launched ORD-AMS. Our focus is Asia/Pacific and there IS going to be more expansion. Expect BNE.
