Jump to postWhy not use the MD11 as an interim solutions? Inexpensive to lease, plenty to choose from, carries more passengers than the 763ER and plenty range for Asia. If results for the Asia market support a bigger or more advanced airplane, HMY can always order new 777s or 747s.

Flight international mentioned in a recent issue that Airbus will offer a HGW version of the A345 with a range exceeding that of the 777LR. (see issue where ANA's 7E7 order was announced)
