RE: Comair's Callsign

I like Waterski (which I believe is Trans States callsign? correct me if I'm wrong) but only because that's the only original callsign I ever heard in STL

RE: Any UPS Pilots A.net Members In Here?

I flew to RFD about a month ago and I saw several UPS 727's along with a 767 sitting on the ramp there. I was actually kind of surprised to see what I thought was a good quantity of UPS planes there in RFD.

RE: Airbus Full Of Themselves?

I would have to agree with the people who claim that both companies need each other, but I'm wondering does anyone think that maybe Airbus is stretching their power a bit too much with the A380? I'm a fan of both companies but I just don't think the A380 is going to benefit Airbus at all in the long...

RE: What Is Berlin's Main Airport?

Air One- I believe Tegel is the busiest. It serves 37 scheduled airlines and in 2001 had 131,631 total aircraft movements. Tempelhof serves 15 scheduled airlines and had 48,927 total aircraft movements. Schoenefeld serves 22 scheduled airlines and had 40,447 movements. If you want more info you can ...

RE: What Does LH Want To Do With Stl?

Did Lufthansa used to fly into STL a long time ago? I know it's off topic but I was just curious. I remember a lady living across the street from me a long time ago who worked for Lufthansa I think.

RE: Good Aviation College?

I was wondering does anyone have any opinions about Central Missouri State at Warrensburg? That's the only other university I can think, in addition to all the others everyone has mentioned, that has an aviation program. I think ATC is their forte, correct me if I'm wrong

RE: Good Aviation College?

Skyhawk-

Thanks for clarifying my statement of aviation. Aviation is a huge field consisting of flight, ATC, business, and management, but I'd figure people would have enough common sense to figure that one out. Point is Riddle is aviation-centered.

RE: Good Aviation College?

Well I'm in the Purdue Flight program and I have no complaints at all, but I don't want to be biased. When I looked at collegiate flight programs I checked out ASU, Riddle in AZ, SLU, and Daniel Webster. Every university I believe prepares you very well for any career in aviation you so desire. It's...

FE & Dispatcher Certificates...worth It?

Hello...Currently I am a freshman at Purdue University in their Flight program. I was just wondering if the FE and Dispatcher certificates would be worth getting (in addition to all other required certificates and ratings to become an airline pilot of course), or would make me more lucrative to the ...

RE: Any Word From Gate Agents On How Hijackers Boarded

I think its very obvious how they did it, airport employess dont do their fricken jobs like they are suppose to do. Instead of having poorly educated airport employees, we should have specialized airport employees. If your an airport employee you better get your fricken act together, if YOU people w...

Aviation Programs/universities

Well I don't know if this is out of place, but I'm kind of in a dilemna right now. First of all, I'm a senior in high school getting ready to pick a university and I know that I want to be an airline pilot once I get out of college. I've visited Embry-Riddle and Purdue and enjoyed both of them very ...
