Get yourself a master's degree in something other than aviation...like an MBA or something in Business. Will serve you well down the road if you need to work in a field other than aviation, but moreover, it shows you're well rounded education-wise.

Modern day aircraft are flying computers- sometimes you have to shut down to dark to clear faults or something turned on the wrong sequence in order to correct it. In the G450/550, when you bring the batteries on, the Display Controllers will say "Powerup Test in Progress"...you don't touch anything...

Think of FLCH as "speed on elevator"...it will fly the speed selected in the window, manual or auto. Put in a lower speed on a climb, the jet will pitch up to meet that speed and get up there faster.
