I think the view controls are frustrating.Almost to the point where it makes me mad. Doesn't seem like I can get it to stay "looking" where I want. I enjoyed the old FS ways to manipulate the views. For me this is the biggest gripe. I loved the old spot view in FSX where it just fixed on ...
Jump to postI thought i'd just share a few overall thoughts too... Overall its a great new sim, and will give a fantastic base to build on in years to come. Jump to postI'm pretty sure you could just swap the cables. Sounds like an easy fix.
Jump to posthow were the aircraft created? Are they taken from photographs or from drawings you found online? If so, then you'll need the permission of the photographer or artist who created it. If you've drawn the liveries yourself then you should be fine.

Jump to postWait until next year. Governments will be ending their furlough schemes by the end of this year, at which point labour costs will go through the roof. Jump to postWould VS ever operate EDI-MCO as well as or instead of from GLA? Is there a reason GLA was chosen over EDI, given both airports operate long-haul flights? Many reasons: - Glasgow is a much larger city, therefore providing much greater outbound demand. EDI does well because of the large inbound mark...

For each point that you claim is a safety issue, please give one example where it resulted in an accident in the last 10 years. Better yet, one that claimed a fatality. If you can't then it isn't a safety issue.
Jump to postThere's also www.planelogger.com - it also allows you to mark off which ones you have seen. It's the only one with a full historical list for every airline too - right back to the 1950's and 60's fleets.
Jump to postYou all realize that this has been happening for years on the 757? Continental/United, American and Delta have been running three pilots on the 757 and been doing quite well. If anything the lower costs of the A321 will help, not hurt. I was just going to say this... United do it fairly frequently ...

None of them is perfect, each has its pros and cons.
There are still a lot of unserved routes following flybe's collapse. I can't help but feel there's room for a new entrant in to the market, perhaps even Stobart Air taking on some routes of their own outside of the Aer Lingus franchise agreement.

Jump to postJust go to http://www.gcmap.com and type in any airport code. Under the information it displays the closest and furthest airfield from that point. e.g for LIS - it's:

New Plymouth, TKI, NZ
How much is the tax bill?
EDIT: It seems they are asking the government to let them delay paying their APD liabilities, which run to "tens of millions".

FlyBE has a good business model, it's just been poorly managed over the last few years. Their business model is dead and buried, has been for years. There's too many frequent trains now, the airport experience is no longer fast and seamless for business travel and APD has killed leisure travellers ...

Sadly this logic often doesn't stick with heavily in-debt airlines that have been around for a long time.
