Re: AMS gets ready to build new A-concourse

Thank you. So at last, we will see the end of the bus rides from the Fokker Farm to the terminal and we'll get to use proper gates....

Re: AMS gets ready to build new A-concourse

Where exactly will the A pier go? Is it where the Fokker (RIP) Farm is? If so, what does that mean for Cityhopper operations?

Re: KLM Started Phase Out Of The 747-400

I'm pretty certain that there are notifications over the main doors of the registration number (and possibly city). So, if you wander up towards the galleys during the flight, I'm sure you'll spot these on at least the left hand side. Someone correct me if I'm wrong....

Re: New KLM 737-800s

Yes, this clears it up. Presume these will be the last short haul additions until the next big order. The oldest 738s are 18 years old now so presumably an order for new aircraft will be due in the next 3-5 years. PS - Do Transavia have any more aircraft on order? I believe they still have the aircr...

New KLM 737-800s

I notice that KLM have transferred two 737s from Transavia; PH-HSD/E. Does anyone know if these are permanent transfers or something temporary to help with summer capacity?

Have the planes been fully reconfigured with KLM interiors?

Thanks

Delta MD88 v MD90 Thread

I would like to understand in one thread the main differences between Delta's MD88s and MD90s please. So the kind of things I am hoping people could help with are: Visual (External). Pictures? Visual (Internal). Pictures? General Route Differences Performance Differences Ride Quality Perception Diff...

Re: KLM refurbishes A330 and phases 2 out

A couple of questions from me for those that maybe in the know. Do we know which frames will leave? And does this new announcement affect the 747 retirement diary for this year. Hope they retain 'AON'. This is quite a special 332 as it was an NTU defense aircraft and stood idle for a long time befor...

Enter Air

Does anyone know if Enter Air are flying for Transun again this winter season? Are they using the 738s or the 734s?

Anyone got any experience of Enter Air?

Re: KLM adds Minneapolis

Have to say, I didn't expect this.

Nice to see more KLM to the US. Delta's WBC is better than KLM's in my opinion, but I much prefer the service levels and homely feel of KLM.

Re: KLM Started Phase Out Of The 747-400

I guess that with the winter season almost upon us, flights will just switch to that schedule. Your question isn't straight forward to answer as I would expect some 747 routes will be replaced by 777, some by 789 or some by something else altogether. It won't be as straight forward as one type repla...

757 Transatlantic Experiences.....

For years, I have read on here about how many a.nutters wouldn't want to fly a narrow body over the pond. Well, after travelling the over the pond 3-4 times a year for a long time, I finally got to ride a 757 transatlantic this week. Specifically, a DL 757. My experience was different to my expectat...

Re: CityJet and Air France

Interesting, thank you. So basically, the relationship is now a simple one in which Cityjet simply fly a few regional routes for AF.

I wonder how long the contract is with AF and how AF decide to split the routes between HOP and WX?

CityJet and Air France

Can someone explain the relationship between Cityjet and Air France? Do Cityjet simply fly some of the AF regional network on behalf of AF, or is there a stronger relationship than that? Do we know when the new SSJs will start to be used across the AF/Cityjet network? I'll be glad to see the back of...

Re: KLM F70 Retirement Plan and E175 Introductions

Perfect, just what I needed. I wonder why if the final flight is October 17, some aircraft aren't leaving until early 2018?

Going to be a sad day when these little blue birds leave our skies.

KLM F70 Retirement Plan and E175 Introductions

There is a good thread going at the moment talking about KLM's 747 retirement schedule, so wondered if there was any informed folks out there who could update us on what is happening with the F70s. I know the F70s should be gone in the next 12-15 months, but does anyone have a list of which aircraft...
