Re: Icelandair new livery

Yuck !!!

I don’t like it. It cheapens Icelandair’s brand & brings it closer to that of an LCC. What were they thinking at Icelandair HQ. With Play & Wizzair growing in their backyard that brand differentiation is even more important

Re: Do you think Virgin Atlantic are classy?

They walk a fine line from classy to tacky. For example sometimes their crews are impeccable professionals. Other times they come across as vacuous & chavy. Another pain point for me is Virgins A330's ... the fit out for the upper class cabin contains a wall, next to the galley, that is diamante...

Seems like FR are doing some creative/clever accounting with their results ... they've reduced their depreciation charge for their aircraft as they weren't being flown fully. “Depreciation is 30% lower at €134.0M, due to reduced aircraft utilisation”. This is not standard industry practice & mos...

I’m getting the impression things are not looking too good for wowair.

I’ve read one report that they’ve come back to icelandair asking them to revisit their acquisition. Another report I’ve read seems to suggest that the indigo partners deal is also doomed.

Re: Aer Lingus Announces Upcoming Brand Refresh

Aer Lingus, Iberia, Level, Vueling and no doubt a new BA livery will complete what this is really all about. And that is being able to swop planes between IAG fleets at minimal cost. Everything else being spouted by the Customer Innovation brand bunnies is just crap. You are 100% correct. It’s so d...
