What happened to the "Y" project. I think it's time while the economy is good is to build the 737 replacement once and for all. Their board is too focused on the near instead of the future. We beat Airbus with the 787, we can beat them with the next narrowbody requirement.

Last AirTran ATS Painted

The last AirTran colors 737-700 on finished painted this week. N7717D. No more transitions left at this facility. Give us another 1 - 4 weeks and you'll see her at Vegas soon. Depending on any potential teething problems but the AirTrans usually go fairly smooth.

RSW, Florida Southwest Regional,
could be considered since they pretty much built a new terminal complex on the other side from the old and long term plans include a new runway SW to the complex. Lot of room for growth though not technically new.
