Be interesting to see how many digital shooters will have their shots still around in 50 years.There are many slides that have been around from the early 60's. Stuff a disc there goes all your work. with a slide you still have a hard copy.

I still shoot slides but do own a digital camera. as mike said it costs you big money to shoot slides and there is an art to using them. Any person can take digitals and get the best one they need. Air New Zealand buying Safe air gone with in six months. Then they got hold of Ansett Australia destroyed it in 14 months by sheer greed. They were always a wanna be airline.No love here for them at all and placed 16,000 aussies out of a job.

Sydney is way past the use by date. More airlinres should fly to other capitals but to most there is only one Capital in Australia this includes QF and the federal government.

I have had slide film in my camera for up to a month. Slides i just keep them in a dry cool room and they should last you years it is not like some of the old agfa slides which had a very short life before going purple and then fading away. Do not worry your slides will see your lifetime out.

The other reason why ANZ stopped SQcwas they wanted to be greedy and biuy the 50% and then sell it to <acronym title="Singapore Airlines">SQ</acronym> for a huge profit. Came unstuck. Make sure you do not just delete the photos from the card you should always format the card i had exactly the same problem on a trip. after the people spoke to canon they said always format never just delete.

ANZhas alway been a small player and any subsideries it has had has been closed down after they have hbeen owned. Remeber an airline that used to fly freight called SAFEAIRthey finished up the same way as Ansett after being owned by <acronym title="Alitalia (Italy)">AZ</acronym>. Niot much more need...
