I was curious, what was EWR's dominant carrier before People Express. Or was there one? Going by photographs that I've seen of both pre & post 1973 terminals....I would guess Eastern. In quite a few cases...a LONG TIME competitor I think ATL-LGB and ATL-OAK are the only routes that B6 has been run off...I could be wrong. But there seem to be a lot where B5 has run someone off. I really enjoy this airport ! There was a recent thread that got me thinking about the 3-way battle between B6, NK & WN So....WHO is winning this battle, currently? routes? pax? gates? flights? USA winning gold in men's curling and women't hockey is enough of a surprise that it doesn't really matter that we finished fourth - it feels like a succesful games for team USA. If the do add a 2nd flight, pretty sure it won't be RON.....but....never say never I'm curious as to why you would think that. You should enjoy clear sunny weather. Had to fight clouds the first two days. Also, first half of the final two days. LAS is one of the easiest airports to spot at in USA. I wouldn't go quite that far. It's certainly no TPA, MIA, FLL or CLT It seems like LAS prefers landings on 25L, even if the win...Jump to post

To be really fair, you need to compare apples to apples. WN to ECP is short 2-3 hrs domestic flight, while TATL is 3x that stage length. A more comparable question to WN and ECP would be "Will JAX get flight to LAX/SFO" anyway. Then you need to go reread what I said...because you TOTALLY ...Jump to post

OK, since the south runway opened, I have made several visits. Great movie. What year did UA change their logo to the red and orange "U"? I thought by 74 that was already in place, but none of the planes had that livery. Also, notable is the lack of any small planes in CLE--all big jets. Timetable that introduced that "U" livery....note the...Jump to post
