It makes sense if the same connecting traffic from the smaller cities can be made over IAD rather than EWR. By moving some regional traffic out of Newark, they can add more mainline.

The media would have got a whiff of some kind of merger/acquisition/order by now.

Check out their facebook.. they talk about adding their mobile check-in app and kiosks and then asking about "guess what's next tomorrow!"

That definitely point to some kind of product announcement.

This was not a “UA FA.” It was a Trans States flight attendant. But that United name is on the plane, the cocktail napkins, safety card, the uniform - I suspect. It speaks to United's standards. Hopefully she wasn't cocktailed, but perhaps there was a medical condition that was attended to quickly....

Because ATC is an absolute joke, that’s why. If that same weather had passed through say IAH or ORD it would have been maybe a 15 min hold to swap runway configurations. But N90 is just an absolute disaster.

WN profit numbers blow away the numbers of the US3. Yes, DL had a larger profit number, but they are also twice as large revenue wise.
