I'm not sure if they can legally, Swissair stopped flying in 2002 but it took a lot longer to wind down the business. The ownership of the brand may also be a bit more complicated because of a court case involving the former executives in 2007

There doesn't seem to be the full story from the woman's side but the treatment still sounds pretty bad for the woman. Of course this is Ryanair, I would avoid them entirely if I wasn't a young single person who can travel on hand luggage, otherwise I'd rather pay to fly someone else.

G-VSHY will be going back to Airbus to be used in the A350 certification, not sure what this will exactly entail at this stage. Three more 346s will also be leaving the VS fleet, presumably as three new A333s are delivered.
