I would be very surprised if indeed this isn't just a rumor. SIN is a financial capital and SEA, with all due respect, doesn't have that many business located near it not to mention a small population of just 724,000. There are so many other cities that offer much more than SEA, with all due respect.

I see UA asking for the AA slot and moving it to DEN. That would make the most sense for them. MSP is a recipe for disaster in that it will draw locals only, and how many of them will take this given other options?

UA is holding off until the 797 is launched and they will be the head of the line. While they like the 320 series, there are no plans to order more of them, and the used ones are basically 'fill orders' until the new MOM is on property. .

No, this is how co operates. UA didn't order piecemeal, instead they made large order announcements. Except CO didn't have money to buy widebody aircraft even for 9 orders like 10 years ago. I suspect this is for the 763 that are supposedly not going to get Polaris. ??? Where did you get that nugge...

Except that co loves Boeing. They were an all Boeing fleet before UA, and didn't like the 320 until it was forced upon them. The only reason they are buying them now is because they are cheap and they can "use and abuse" them then dump them. We will see, but my vote is the 350 never makes ...

I'll reask the question, what does UA get out of merging with B6 that they want? FLL is not a southern hub, it's a Florida/Caribbean/Latin America hub. Nice to have, but worth $10 billion when IAH exists as an ok substitute, not to mention the Caribbean and Latin American coverage from EWR and IAD?...

Issue isn't pushing mental issues 'underground,' it is that these three pilots falsified an application to the Federal Government. There are consequences for actions and these guys, especially the USAF one, fully understand their are penalties they will pay.

Conversation is on long haul international equipment, which obviously needs crew rest seats. Domestic doesnt have such a need.

How old are the planes in question? I read once that the first 5 years are covered by the manufacture for warranty. If that is true, then I would think most of the planes would not have an issue. Unless, they are talking about RR. As for missing crew, its AI obligation to know what staffing they nee...
