Re: Austin Texas Thread - 2018

There was an average of 222 passengers a day who travel between AUS and CLE in Q2 2017 according to the DOT Domestic Airline Consumer Airfare Report. Re: Delta Air Lines Network Thread 2018

I would imagine that an upcoming venture with Jet Airways is the kind of strategic investment DL can use to capture USA - India traffic for those wanting a lower cost option. I don't think there is much of a market for DL to move into it's own with USA to India traffic, but perhaps a more extensive...

Re: Austin Texas Thread - 2018

These routes are either currently well served (SEA, PDX, DTW) or just odd PVD, JAX, OMA, MKE?

Re: Austin Texas Thread - 2018

I suspect nothing is happening at the meeting, it's the annual meeting of the chamber. Seems an odd place for individual business to make an announcement.

Re: Via Air

booked a flight on Via for AUS-OKC in March, from the looks of their website they aren't going to launch it by then. It was supposed to be launched in Jan. Guess it's time to dispute charges on credit card... OKC is now missing from their destinations page. https://www.flyviaair.com/destinations/ B...

Re: What is next for Allegiant

what about a base in south Texas (Harlingen/Brownsville/McAllen) for South Padre Island? Thoughts? G4 pulled out of BRO with LAS service a while back. Seems that it would be even harder to get them to return with a base after that experience. Even though BRO being closer to SPI seems more likely a ...
