Re: Upstate New York Thread - 2018

I'm wondering if the SYR airport authority now with a clean and renovated airport finally takes their collective head out of their *** and lowers their fees as well to attract WN. SYR has to be one of the larger cities still unserved by WN. If WN won't fly to SYR because of the proximity to it's ot...

Cape Air’s Cessna 402 are so uncomfortable and loud. Maybe when they introduce their new Tecnam P2012 I’d be more likely to fly them again.

It’s weird that they will serve both Chicago and Washington DC, I wish they serve one or the other and make it 2x daily .

In places like Ogdensburg or Massena where it snows a lot, only 1x daily per destination could be a problem when flights get cancelled.

So any news from the airline for those of you that are passengers? Just like yesterday, the plane was supposed to leave DEN for CLD this morning but still hasn’t. If they don’t fix something fast and get some planes out to California, they’ll be in big trouble (more than they are now) .

Even though SYR isn’t on the list of top unserved markets from SLC, a couple of years ago (3 maybe 4) Delta operated one-off nonstops to SYR at the end of March (around the 28th) and November (the 30th), although that hasn’t occurred since 2014.

Maybe the A220 is the perfect aircraft for this route.
