I'm wondering if the SYR airport authority now with a clean and renovated airport finally takes their collective head out of their *** and lowers their fees as well to attract WN. SYR has to be one of the larger cities still unserved by WN. If WN won't fly to SYR because of the proximity to it's ot...Jump to post
Two come to mind for me that a most famous with aviation enthusiasts in the US. 1. United Airlines Island hopper on the 737 between Honolulu and Guam, takes six stops along the way. 2. Alaska Airlines milk run, also on the 737 (used to be on the combi), between Seattle and Anchorage with multiple st...Jump to post
The only other plane of theirs that is not EP is N286SK which is down for maintenance as it struck a construction vehicle about a week ago and damaged the wing.Jump to post
Ther used to have weekend only service from Hilton Head to Reagan on the Dash-8 with U.S. Airways around 5 years agoJump to post
Glad to see the plane is finally on its way. Too bad the inaugural won’t be on a plane with the California Pacific livery on.Jump to post

Since two of the four airplanes are EPs, I'm guessing that they can't fly out if CRQ. When Continental had them, they were no balls of fire.
None of their planes are even on the way to California.Jump to post
It’s weird that they will serve both Chicago and Washington DC, I wish they serve one or the other and make it 2x daily .
In places like Ogdensburg or Massena where it snows a lot, only 1x daily per destination could be a problem when flights get cancelled.
So any news from the airline for those of you that are passengers? Just like yesterday, the plane was supposed to leave DEN for CLD this morning but still hasn’t. If they don’t fix something fast and get some planes out to California, they’ll be in big trouble (more than they are now) .Jump to post
Another thread talking about the EAS contracts in both Ogdensburg and Massena:
This was slightly talked about in the “Upstate New York” thread viewtopic.php?p=20827069#p20827069Jump to post
That’s Weird, I will post the screenshot of it on my story on Instagram (which is: Gerardi-Aviation-Photography ) because I can’t figure out how to post it on airliners.netJump to post

You sure about that? I don't see the change on their website or Social media.

EAS contracts are up for renewal at Ogdensburg and Massena . Airlines that have submitted proposals include Silver, SkyWest, boutique, and Cape Air . You can now comment on the proposals on Regulations.gov There are some very interesting proposals in the mix, including some triangle routes, I haven’...Jump to post
I don’t know if this is bad or not. One of the California Pacific planes was supposed to leave DEN for CLD last night and was cancelled and rescheduled for this morning. It was supposed to leave at 11am MST , it’s now 1:30pm MST and it hasn’t left yet. With the inaugural less than 24hrs away, Is thi...Jump to post
It looks like N259JQ will be the aircraft. FR24 shows a DEN-CLD flight planned for yesterday that didn't seem to happen, and another one planned for this morning planning to depart at 1100 and arrive at 1203. https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/n259jq Hope the flight leaves, would be bad if...Jump to post
Unfortunately it doesn’t even look like the inaugural flight will be a California Pacific plane. The one plane painted in the California Pacific livery will remain in Denver.Jump to post

I wish Air Canada would consider restarting service to at least one airport in upstate, SYR would make sense as it’s centrally located. But it probably won’t happen for a long time if ever. If AC can do three daily to CLE with a CRJ100/200 they can surely make one or two daily work at SYR. I’m sure...Jump to post
Delta has had one offs to multiple airports in the past, some have started as regularly scheduled service and some haven’t. Airports that had one-off service to SLC that now have scheduled service: - Pittsburgh - Washington Dulles - Tampa - Fort Lauderdale - Columbus, OH (begins next June 2019) Citi...Jump to post
Their Carlsbad schedule looks like it doesn’t leave room for maintenance delays. Monday-Friday the schedule runs from 7am to 9pm with only 30-45 min turnarounds at each airport.Jump to post
Even though SYR isn’t on the list of top unserved markets from SLC, a couple of years ago (3 maybe 4) Delta operated one-off nonstops to SYR at the end of March (around the 28th) and November (the 30th), although that hasn’t occurred since 2014.
Maybe the A220 is the perfect aircraft for this route.
https://www.mycpair.com/images/2018%20cpa%20route%20map-01.png?crc=9633138 I know there routes, maybe I didn’t clarify this enough. All of their planes are currently still in the dakotas and Colorado, but their first flight out of Carlsbad is the day after tomorrow. What I’m asking is what airports...Jump to post
It’s first flight hasn’t even started out of Carlsbad yet and already they’ve had a plane damaged...

Anyone know the routes the planes will be taking to get out to California?

There's a shot of the UA Friend Ship A320 at ROC in either A.net or FlightAware or somewhere. Love hearing that it comes to town. I remember being in elementary school in the 1970's and being excited every time I saw a "new paint job United" (meaning Bass) at the airport. But the Friend S...Jump to post

For as far BOS is concerned the times aren't too bade when you consider that B6 has an early mourning one w/ AA being an evening flight. The B6 one is better suited for connections while AA's is more PTP. Interestingly enough during the winter w/ the seasonal FLL flight B6 overnights 3 planes in SY...Jump to post

AA has 2x ROC - BOS and 1daily SYR which is at a horrible time and is always delayed. I’m surprised they haven’t dropped these routes yet as AA doesn’t have much connecting traffic (other than to their hubs) out of BOS and their only non-hub routes are SYR, ROC, and MDT . They have to be doing poor...Jump to post

I highly doubt B6 will ROC, or SYR will ever be dropped given that they are priding themselves on being “New York’s airline” . I’m honestly surprised AA hasn’t dropped ROC or SYR especially. With AA dropping PIT from BOS, that only leaves SYR, ROC, and MDT as American Eagle destinations from that ci...Jump to post
