Doesn't seem like either WW or FI like to get into small European markets. SJJ does have good N.A. connectivity via MUC/VIE/IST so NYC/ORD and others (BOS, SFO, LAX) have 1-stop options. In my opinion SJJ would be well served by an AMS or CDG link first and foremost. BA probably won't waste a slot ...

Can one figure out how to fly one of these with just a sim? I pretty much figured out a 172 without ever going on any sort of sim in my life and my instructor was pretty quite the whole first lesson. Of course they are very, very different but with months on a sim could it be done?

STL makes perfect sense considering they are opening a new part of the C concourse with that stated reason as something like "in case an airline expresses interest," so that would make the mystery come together. (posted a while back in the STL topic) IND needs the competition too.
