Elite Air has annouced additional service to Florida from PWM, with flights to Vero Beach starting this spring. Their flights to MBS and SRQ have been successful over the last couple years. Honestly, I didn't expect these routes to last long, or even the airline when they came to town a couple year...

Why don't US airlines just police the amount of luggage taken onboard? The amount of stuff people take onboard is ridiculous. If the ground staff demanded one compliantly sized bag per pax, this angst would be avoided. Other countries do it but US airlines ignore it and instead end up with boarding...

Another way the "legacy" carriers show their total lack of concern for their pax ... by refusing to reaccomodate on another airline they happen not to like .. . even tho it would be the best option for the pax. I didn't realize they had cancelled their interline agreement to begin with. So...

I do think that if DY had chosen a more popular city then EDI, things may have been different. These weird oddball cities they chose (EDI, BGO, BFS, ORK) ... silly. A BDL-LGW route would have cleaned up. Serve the real first-level cities first (even maybe via their alternate or outlying airports) .....
