I was wondering if I can get some feedback on Boeing vs Airbus. What is the difference between their philosophies etc. I know that Boeing wants the pilot to have the final authority in flying the airplane while Airbus wants the machine to have the final say. Ya i think it only goes as far as to U.S states and Canada. I was looking up on AA142 and it only goes as far up to Greenland.

On Comcast it said that witnesses say the boeing 737-400 come down too fast for landing and bounced numerous times then into a rice field where it caught on fire. It also said it was a clear day out.

There is a chance that the bird might have went through the engine. Correct me if i'm wrong but do you think the bird could have hit the coiling, then fell into the engine. I'm not sure but the pictures don't have a good showing o the engine so i'm just wondering.

I might point out here that Airbus supporters don't cringe with they see a boeing and think - gee i hate that thing. They look at it, see it, and think, its okay, but its not my favourite. The don't 'hate' boeings, they like airbus. Its not exactly the case for the reversal now is it!

On the A340, the flight crew rest area is directly behind the flight deck. Its a small narrow cabin, and is has just a couple of bunks. Their is also a lower deck crew rest area as mentioned earlier, but i just thought i would mention this incase it was not clear.

It was a test colour scheme. A few other aircraft were placed in the same or similar bare metal fuselarge liveries, but, its wasn't decieded on. Maybe like virgin's new livery if we are lucky?
