I wouldn't be surprised to see the 77W's on AKL/SYD and MEL as the 788's are some 40 seats less than the -9's so it will create quite the problem for LA over time. For this to happen, the B77W's would have to be moved from the Brazilian outfit to the Chilean one since that's the one that serves AKL...

LATAM Chile would be severely affected in their trans-Pacific routes such as SCL - MEL, SCL - AKL - SYD. None of LATAMs 789s have the Trent TEN, and 140 min would isolate IPC. Not sure if Chile has to comply with EASA or the FAA SCL-IPC, but PPT would be out as would a more northerly routing to AKL...

Will A338/39 have ETOPS to fly nonstop EZE-AKL/SYD? Range is not all tha counts here, and I'm not sure if AR has now ETOPS270 - at least - for any of its twinjet. My opinion of its order is they should go with the 788. It has more than enough capacity for its flights to EUR, US & AUS/NZ, it fits...

GOL's 737-800 comes with the SFP system which allows them to land at SDU. Boeing developed the system for G3 and now it comes with every 737-900ER delivered and is an option for B738.

The plane actually belongs to Hi-Fly but I guess, the lease to W3 is still on. CS-TFW is stored in LOS since DEC/15, and according to the picture above, in terrible conditions. So sad to see an aircraft new like this one going to waste.

The 3x4x3 config is not the big problem here. BA offers 3x3x3 seats on their 777 with only 17.5in width while SQ offers 19in in the same config. LATAM, for exemple, is 3x4x3, 17in. Because the operating costs of the A343 are better than the A346. Hopefully 787s will replace them. Are you sure B787 will replace them? Do they have orders for the type? It's all payload related. UA's 789s are configured with just 252 seats while the A350s will feature more than 300 seats.
