Status of ex-SQ A380 9V-SKA?

I see the ex-9V-SKA has recently been re-registered as 2-DRPA. Usually this means the airframe will be parted-out and scrapped. Have the plans for this aircraft been finalized?

It is still in Aeromexico livery. My guess is cabin refurb @ Haeco and then a fresh coat of paint before going to VIE.

It would seem essentially the entire PW Vietnam Airlines 777 fleet is in the process of being scrapped at GWO, as are the ex-Air China 772s and one ex-CZ. If you do a Google Maps search for "Greenwood-Leflore Airport" and looks at the photos there are some.

I guess you do not love aircraft like most of us do On the contrary, an airline operating unprofitable routes with unprofitable aircraft at unprofitable yields = long term that airline ceasing to exist. It also means said airline will be forced to, eventually, buy something new to keep their number...

The circuit breaker is not out of sight but any stretch of the imagination. What we have here is incompetence in the flight deck and from the maintenance support staff on the ground. Why is this so difficult for people to accept?

With the BCRF project all but dead, it is likely no UA 747-400 will find another home. There might be a few here and there converted to firefighting duties, but other than that, I don't see how any get another lifeline. This airplane is dead.

As time progresses it's increasingly likely that newer computers will have higher-resolution displays i.e. 4K, Apple's Retina, etc. I personally use a MacBook Pro with Retina display and one of the first things that I notice is the scaling that happens with some websites, this one being no exception...
