They bring it here occasionally, but usually the A333.

Re: Boston aviation - 2018

It seems like SK's seasonal service of Boston is doing better, because in the Nordic aviation thread they stated that the route will go daily next summer, but will remain seasonal. Good for SK, hopefully the loads will reflect the increase. On another note, with TSA pre-check expanding to so many in...

Re: Boston aviation - 2018

After seeing conversations in the PHL thread I just wanted to find out here. Are any of BOS-Asia flights payload restricted due to the runway length? Because I've seen full CX flights but I'm not sure if it results in cargo being restricted.

Re: Philadelphia route expansion?

PHL-DOH and PHL-NRT are only about 40 miles different, but a theoretical PHL-HKG is considerably farther. I would assume BOS-China fights are payload restricted. I don't think any of BOS's Asia flights are payload restricted. I may be wrong, but I have seen sold out 77W BOS-HKG takeoff from the 10k...

So it appears the massport CEO has submitted a letter of resignation. https://www.nbcboston.com/news/local/MassPort-CEO-Announces-November-Departure-After-6-Years-on-Job-490916731.html How much do we think this will change the course of scheduled changes to Logan. Don't think it will change much at...

Is there any update on PF's plans for Boston. There are no tickets on sale past October. Are the cutting the routes? or are they making them seasonal?

Believe it or not that was how MUC-BOS got started :)

MUC-BOS?
I thought CPH-BOS. When was MUC-BOS on a 737?

Here's my thoughts on the "nexts" Next domestic destination: BZN - B6 will launch it summer seasonal now that they opened a station there. Next international destination: ARN 3x weekly summer by SK to complement the CPH route. Next international carrier: Air Italy but it may be Summer 202...

BRU (often mentioned as a resumption) MIL (was there scheduled service from BOS previously?) ATH (would likely only be Summer seasonal, maybe even only peak Summer) WAW (does LO have any scope to serve BOS effectively with the connections they offer?) HNL (would HA consider 3X a week or is demand t...

There's been some complaining about the BOS-ICN arrival time in Seoul-Incheon but here's everything on KE code you can connect to from the MCT (45 min for international to international in ICN) to 4 hours based on tomorrow's departures from ICN. BKK, NRT/HND, SGN, HAN, DPS, PUS, PVG, BKI, FUK, SYD,...

4. What purpose would DL upgrading BOS to full hub status serve? Serious question, and I'm not trying to downplay BOS here, I'm just curious at people's thoughts on this. Would BOS become an official secondary TATL gateway to relieve JFK? Considering BOS geographical location (perfect for TATL conn...

Re: Boston aviation - 2018

Sometime May-2019. DL calls BOS as their focus city - it is fairly certain they will be adding new destinations once they get the gates - which means Terminal A all to themselves with the exception of WS. I really hope some of them are intl. destinations. It would help them further secure their pos...

Re: Boston aviation - 2018

Anyone know if BW is coming to Boston? It is listed on Wikipedia (I know not to always trust that site). It shows August 18th as the start date which is way to close which leaves me thinking that this isn't real (also no citation). However, I do think that we can see BW at BOS in the near future. A...
