Re: Australian Aviation Thread - January 2018

Does anybody know when PR's new BNE-MNL direct service will go on sale? Also what the schedule will be? Nothing ex-BNE is currently bookable past March 24th on PR's website (for me anyway)... I can still go an book MNL-DRW-BNE past 24 MAR 18. However I think we can soon expect an updated schedule r...

Re BNE... I've long questioned the AC route (and the set up of their admin ops in AU) and still suspect the new MEL-YVR service will either reduce or replace BNE, but hope to be proven wrong. VA BNE-POM/HIR... only freight is making these flights break even/profitable. And VA's NZ flights all suffe...

Good news Re: MH to BNE. At 4 x weekly it is a good start, but will certainly impact Malindo’s market. At least they can rely on BNE-DPS traffic to fill some seats, but the only way they will appeal for KUL bound pax is on price. Hardly ideal. I think you will find the majority of passengers on Mal...

Re: Australian Aviation Thread - January 2018

Do we think CBR would be standalone, or as a tag flight? CX historically have operated HKG-CNS-BNE and also previously there was a triangle HKG-ADL-MEL-HKG With CNS and BNE being separated, could CBR become a tag off CNS? Would be logical as wouldn't need a daily frequency and given the size of the...
