Such conflict is happening now with the Max9 and the 738 fleet numbers... More likely some desk jockey just made a purely random decision. Someone at CO did the same with the 762 and 753 fleet numbering too.. :crazy: UA's aircraft numbers are 4 digits, so 0754 (B737-700) will not conflict with 7754...

No, the CR929 will be the one that has Russian components.

C919 is entirely designed in China but incorporates many western design elements, such as the engines, avionics, etc.

As I've previously mentioned, United will keep the A350. They will arrive within the timeframe of the first pmUA 777 retirements, and will (along with the 787-10) replace the 777-200ERs. That timeframe is also when the 797 will start to be delivered, coinciding with 757 replacements as well.

NYC-Pittsburgh can have a few flights a day upgauged to the CS100. United uses 737s (-700 and -800) on this route daily, in addition to 4 or 5 additional ERJ-175s, and makes it work perfectly.

Looks like they opted for the B/E Aerospace Pinnacle seat. The reason why the screens look so square is that there's a charging port located right below the screen, and that takes up some space so it looks like a 4:3 aspect ratio screen.

Note that the CS100 has the range to fly transcons if needed.

And for the Francophiles: The aircraft is coded as "WCS" in the system and has "CS100" painted below the nose for the ground crew to see.

The problem is, PE fares on EWR-SIN are routinely $1000-$1300 roundtrip, and there are also many $3000 roundtrip fares for business, too. It's cheaper than flying legacy economy to Europe, Japan, and many other similar markets.
