Re: United 737 MAX Fleet

What is the range of the 73MAX10? Can it take bed seat and do all transcontinental destinations? Could it do SFO to MIA, BOS to LAX? Otherwise I assume it’s getting the new domestic First seat at least. I think the current F seats on the 737 are really bad, poor cushions and storage aside from gene...

Re: United 737 MAX Fleet

According to a pretty reliable site: https://sites.google.com/site/unitedfleetsite/mainline-fleet-tracking UA has 5x 738MAX coming in 2018. True? I didn't think they had any 8's ordered, but they already listed unit #'s. N67501 N37502 N27503 N37504 N47505 N37506 Interesting! I never noticed it on t...

Re: United 737 MAX Fleet

I understand your point. However, it just seems really "cheap" to not have the seatback entertainment screens - almost like a budget carrier. United doesn't even have power ports/usb ports for any of their 737s with PDE, so I can't see the rationale here. At least give us one or the other...

Re: Delta A330neo - fleet speculations

Delta will receive their first Airbus A330-900neo in 2019. This aircraft will be replacing some of the older 767-300ERs, along with the existing Airbus A350. For economy and premium select, I think they'll go with the same seats that they have on the A350 right now (Recaro CL3710 model for economy ...

Re: Delta A330neo - fleet speculations

I think it could be the Zodiac Cirrus NG for the A330neo. It is an evolution of their current A330 seat, and is better in every way. Or the Waterfront, which is reverse herringbone and has sliding doors, to keep up with their A350/777 J I certainly hope they go with the Panasonic waterfront. It wil...

Re: United 737 MAX Fleet

Regarding IFE, eliminating seatback TV's is the way of the future. And I actually support it. That's 180 TV's to break, spark, fail, etc etc, and TONS of wiring. Eliminate it. Save the weight. Save the fuel. Save the maintenance. And just let me have streaming, to start and pause as I like, from a ...

United 737 MAX Fleet

United Airlines will be taking the first of 161 737 MAX 9 and MAX 10 aircraft starting next year. This will be a thread to discuss all things about this new fleet that will be essentially the backbone of UA's new domestic fleet, as not much is currently known at this time about the aircraft. First t...

Re: DL May Push C-Series Order to AM Avoiding Trade Duty

For a Mobile CSeries FAL, worst case would be that only Canadian parts could be hit by duties. At least 50% of the CSeries is US sourced. Then the wings + part of the fuselage are from Belfast. (+ Some from China) Not sure what's left, made in Canada, (the cockpit? The engines?) that would be taxab...

Re: What’s next for Silver Airways?

Hope they restart service to GNV. I work in GNV during the summer and it'll be great to see some other options besides DL and AA.

Re: Delta A330neo - fleet speculations

Also, does anyone has any registration info for the A330? I presume DL will go with the N8##NW model, just like with their existing A330s. They've only ordered 25 of these, so they should be able to fit them within the N8##NW format. Somebody posted in a separate thread that they were gonna have th...

Delta A330neo - fleet speculations

Delta will receive their first Airbus A330-900neo in 2019. This aircraft will be replacing some of the older 767-300ERs, along with the existing Airbus A350. However, when compared to the A350, the A330neo is a lot narrower. On the A330neo, you can fit 8 seats at 18-in width per row in economy, wher...
