Re: United Fleet Upgrade Status - 2018

I've now seen that United is operating a domestic 777-200 on the EWR-DUB route for many days now... any thoughts?

Re: Boston aviation - 2018

WN is a legacy carrier. WN is not a legacy carrier... it's a low cost airline How old are you? WN has been around since long before the deregulation act of 1978. Low cost or not has absolutely nothing to do with being a legacy or not. It's the age of the airline that deems it a legacy carrier or no...

Re: Boston aviation - 2018

Will DL ever add BOS-IAH nonstop service? UA is currently the only airline to serve IAH nonstop from BOS, but both WN and B6 do serve HOU nonstop from BOS. IAH is the only US3 hub that has nonstop service out of BOS on only 1 legacy carrier, even though DL is the only airline to serve its CVG focus...

Maybe opening up a small base in PVD or maybe even BOS or MHT would be practical as they are pretty weak in the New England area, let alone the northeast...

A "real" hub if you know what I mean. 200+ flights to non hub destinations (I know they have some but most are on regional).

Re: Delta at SEA, BOS, and RDU

BOS layout stinks for a hub airline. It is made for decent sized operations from many carriers. It is not meant for a hub airline, sadly. Terminal A is already almost at capacity. Every time I am in there the place is a zoo and check-in and security are flooded with people. When WN moves out, ya th...

When I say expand, I mean the total amount of gate space, not DL... there only hope after they receive WN's gates would be to expand into later hours 8pm-

Re: Hawaiian airports and aviation - 2018

Question: why does HA fly HA273 to LIH every single day on a 763? Does it need to get the aircraft there or for capacity reasons?

Hawaiian Airlines 767 HNL-LIH

Wondering if anyone knew why HA is flying a 763 daily from HNL-LIH as HA273... could this be to get the aircraft to Lihue or for added capacity?
