Re: US-Japan agree on additional Haneda slots; DOT to allocate

12 applications is going to be pushing it - unless DL literally tries to move everything over to HND. Doubt AA and UA get that aggressive in trying to shift stuff. Hawaiian seems to be the interesting one to watch. HA already flies KOA-HND, and not sure if OGG would work with the runway - but if it...

I think for sure that we will see TP to OPO on a 321LR. Made me think of it because EWR is now getting x6 weekly OPO service on the 321 rather than x2 weekly on the 332. I imagine that they will start to expand OPO with the new 321LR's and see existing cities get 2 destination service from TP.

Really interested to see how PVD is doing with all this increased service. Last time I've been there was no ticket counter space and F9 was using every available common use gate on the north side. Wonder if they have any expansion in mind especially with these new additions (SY, LF, AC) and ramped u...

I think apex suites would be the perfect fit for UA and others. Direct aisle access and still a 2-2 arrangement that can fit on a 737 or 320 aircraft.

Here's my completely crazy, off the wall guess at new routes for AS: SDF-LAX or SDF-BOS. The local business community is pushing for flights to these two cities. SDF-BOS? That's more of a JetBlue kind of flight... And I'm sure they would start JFK-SDF before BOS-SDF. I think BOS is actually more li...

If you're talking about the APEX seats that are being used by Korean and Oman, i think it may be too big for the 757 and A321. I now UA is in the process of designing a new seat for the 73J, so lets see what they come up with. AA is happy with the Super Diamond they use on their A321T. I don't thin...

Narrowbody Lie Flat Seat Options

Personally I think Apex suites would fit perfectly in a 2-2 arrangement on a320 and 737's. What other products could airlines use that would offer a better lie flat option than what AA, DL, UA offer on their 321 and 757's up front?

Any thought of a new airline coming to HYA in the summer? I live on Cape Cod and endure the 1+ hours just to get over the bridge regularly. Tourist season is insane here. Maybe a flight to D.C or ORD would do the trick to alleviate some traffic. Demand is definitely here.

Yeah they don't do much. If transcon flights ever commence I bet they wouldn't command a premium there either. Loads would be higher on AA and DL because of the endless small cities they serve from LGA. i'm not saying loads would be bad for UA, just not up to AA or DL level.
