I believe that the NHANG decided not to do a show this year. They were originally planning on a small show in 2006, with a large show next year.

I believe that some of the tankers from March and Grand Forks may be going into Guard units. Bangor currently operates E's, but I believe the plan is to transition them to 12 'R' models at some point.

Kincheloe was closed in the late 1970's

That aircraft is based out of Hanscom AFB (Bedford), and I believe is a venture between MIT and the Air Force. I believe that they use the callsign "Research".

They are pretty frequent visitors to the Bangor/Pease/Hanscom facilities, as I recall.

As far as I'm concerned, the folks at Pease need to stick it to Pan Am for the remainder of their lease at the field, and then wave goodbye - and good riddence.

My parents also have the front loading washer and dryer. I have only used them a few times, but they seem quite nice.

It also seems like they are very quiet, which is always a plus as far as I'm concerned.
