Just noticed this. As most of us know, LH announced daily service to/from MUC for Summer 2024. This is up from current 3x weekly for Winter 2023/2024. T-1 Project: How come their aren't current pix or videos of this massive project? The SAN.ORG site only shows artists renderings, no actual photos. 45 years ago (and on) we got an eyeful of the bigger passenger wide bodies compared to today. Off the top of my head: UA 747, 2) UA DC10s, 2) AA DC-10s, WA DC-10 and L1011s from DL and TWA. I think DL did SLC-SAN-HNL, first with DC-10's acquired from WA (after the merger) and later switching to the L-10-11s The former WA DC-10s just after the merger looked pretty tacky with the "W" blotted out and a DL decal on them! The newly acquired 727s looked even worse! I miss Western'...

I remember during the 2011 blackout, when they couldn't use the jetways,
they had to revert back to airstairs at SAN. The local news said
that it didn't look like San Diego Intl Airport, it looked like the old
Lindbergh Field!

anyone know why we had to BA arrivals yesterday? BA9602 came in at around 230 pm. and BA 273 came in at the normal 5pm arrival.
