Hi kas
Of course it also finds matches from your uploads to a.net, flickr, and any other website you upload to.
Best to choose to ignore certain sites, that takes care of many of the matches in one single go.

Nice to see some have signed up! A tip from my side (also explained on their website I think) -Focus on photos that may be used as stock images. Standard sunny side-ons of commercial airlines are stolen far less than closeups, or photos of bizjets. -When finding matches, ignore anything on blogs or ...

Hi All, I have been away from the forums for some time, but would like to share my experience in handling photo theft. Ever since I started publishing my photos to airliners.net I have been struggling with image theft. In the early days I would sometimes receive an email from a fellow a.net photogra...

He's not going tobe making any money off it.

I think there will always be a certain " arrogance" implied in whatever the screeners write. After all the very fact that you are a screener means that you get to decide (along with a few collegues) what is ok for a.net and what isnt. Poor is maybe not the best choice of words but it only means " po...

The hobby is not dead but there is no growth. There are no new (or very few) entrants to the hobby I think and the fact that Kodachrome is over doesnt exactly help the situation either. It will keep on going for years and years but the glory days are over and wont return. I already stopped collectin...
Jump to postHi All Thanks for all the warm words, I appreciate it. Things change and I no longer had the time and commitment to work 15 hours a week or more on the site. Hopefully I can go to the airport a little more often now. I had my ups and downs as a screener here during 6 years but I look back on it posi...

Dust becomes more visible with high apertures. At F22 you will see every tiny speck. These seem very small and I think most cameras will have a few of these that will be tough to get rid off. Personally I wouldnt worry about it

I've found hot sticky summer mornings to be best, although you can see these effects all the time when there's a little humidity or low clouds. Jump to postRon, are you looking for an extreme wideangle? If so I have the Canon 10-22, which is very good. As for a general walkaround lens you'd want something with a little more reach. I have the 17-40, which is just stellar. I only use Canon equipment and will never go third party. Canon has never disappoi...
Jump to postSXM hasnt been done to death, it's just that 95% of the people who go there slap on a 10mm lens and stand underneath the airplane, all resulting in the same shot. Jump to postThe fact that cabin views get so many hits means this site is many things to many people. Think that from the many artsy shots we have seen lately it's clear that we allow deviation from the rules when the shot works. Think our rules in the rejection guide reflect that to an extent
