A lot of American companies are setting up call centers in PH because they speak American English instead of British English in India as the Philippines were a former US colony. I flew this route a while back and was like 1 of 2 pax in first class, was disappointed I paid extra for first class expecting the new lie flat, but they did a last minute swap to the older first class cabin, however service was good.
