Apparently, the 4th A380 will join in October to open LAX and India routes. The two final A380 will join in 2024 completing the fleet of 6 --- 5 active and 1 backup. I am also hoping for LX to announce for the A333s to leave the fleet between 2025-2026 and instead increase it's initial A359 order. Not to mention that the 77W of LX will get the new LH Group Alegris cabin full installed by 2026.

Re: LH Group allocates 5 A350’s to LX for A343 replacement

SWISS need to act very fast when it comes to their A333 cabins. The cabins are absolutely at the end of the life cycle. Hence, they need to decide if they will refurbish them in order to keep them flying until approx 2029 / 20230 or get them replaced by 2025 the latest with A359's. Concerning the 77...

SWISS will also need to announce soon if they will refurbish the A333's which is at the end of it's lifecylce or replace them with the A350's during 2025/26, meaning they would leave the fleet earlier than original anticipated.

I wonder if this is the beginning of the replacement phase for the 330s as well? They are not that old, having been delivered between 2009 and 2012 but the 343s began to leave the fleet around 12 years since the first was delivered, in 2003, as the 77W arrived. You could also move the 77W's from LX to LH as these can be flown by the same pilot corps would then be the perfect mix in addition to the 77X. In turn LX will receive new A350-1000 and A359's to replace A343's and add lost capacity of the 5 A333's that have been withdrawn from the fleet permanently.
