Todays UA DUB-EWR the flight went tech this morning and was cancelled. Seems a lot of passengers were re protected on AC who had onward connections.

AFAIK the CTA only applies to U.K. and Irish citizens, by extension it should also apply to EU citizens, but that’s not the wording of the treaty and I don’t think that’s ever been tested in court. Yes Flybe does have a future. The losses are coming down and their revenue is going up and the amount they earn per passenger that they earn is going up. They are on the right path to recovery after some bad decisions. If they did go bust it would be a disaster for a lot of airports around the UK. ...

As someone who flies CFN - DUB regularly the passport control is a non-issue. Ideally it wouldn't be necessary of course and if I had to queue in T1 I might think differently but in T2 it typically adds about 10 seconds to my journey.
