N641UA, a 736, was diverted from BRU>ORD to LHR last week. Still in LHR. Any news?

AA is reducing CLE-LGA to 2 weekday flights in mid-Feb. The third flight comes back in May, according to aa.com I was actually booking CLE>NYC for March this week. Those are very nice numbers for 2017. As for Wow and Icelandair, they will combined be offering about 1600 weekly seats to KEF. As a comparison, CLE-MYR sees about the same number of weekly seats in the summer. If CLE is going to hit 9.5 million for 2018 where will the expansion come from? Frontier...

Regarding CAK>IAH, I wonder what is prompting this? The CLE>IAH capacity has shrunk greatly in the past few years. On Feb 28 for example: CLE>IAH 4x ERJ and 1x73G. And no 6AM flight either. That's a huge decrease. Maybe siphon a few people from CAK they can't get to CLE?

DL to AMS is the only possibility that makes sense IMO. The others lack a suitable aircraft for the mission. Director Kennedy is certainly a professional, and head and shoulders above any director I have known. Let's hope he can successfully fight deeply entrenched interests at CLE and City Hall without losing hope and giving up. UA added a 4th flight to DEN this summer at 5:45AM. It's the most capacity I can remember on the route. 1x E175, 2x 320, 1x 73G.

Losing AS to PIT has to be a blow to CLE's recruitment team. It's a prime carrier vs. the fickle routings of F9 and NK. Somehow, CLE needs to figure out how to win these routes.

I guess no SLC and whatever was hinted at earlier in 2017 either.

CLE numbers for October were 816.5K pax up from 741.3K the year before. First class job by UA on the 747 sendoff. Hub flights, HNL flight, videos, auction, etc. all great stuff.

On the 767's, do you think the units in discussion could be the subfleet of a new PS offering? With 15 dedicated units on the PS route + some 777 domestics added in, it seems probable.
