Perhaps a stupid question. Assuming a large enough market could the 789 fly SYD-IST-SYD without payload restrictions. TK has talked about wanting service to Australia in the past but did not have a suitable aircraft for the route.

I could see LY taking 4-6 77W'S for TLV-JFK-TLV and TLV-LHR-TLV and other higher demand flights. Could the 787-10 do TLV-JFK without taking a payload hit? I only ask as perhaps 787-10 would make more sense than buying end of line 77W'S.

If EK considered resuming a 2nd DXB-BOS-BOS would greek government approve 5th freedom rights for them to do DXB-ATH-BOS-ATH-DXB 3 or 4 weekly service? Would there be suficent traffic to justify the service? Might be a way to bring back 2nd flight for EK.

If I remember correctly a Tu-114 brought Nikita Krushchev from Moscow to Washington to meet with then President Eisenhower in the late 50'S before certified to fly passengers within the USSR.

I agree with tomaheath a second daily mainline to ATL would be a great add. I would gladly take a E-175 if mainline was not an option. Hopefully DY will consider adding BOS-MXP perhaps in 2019. AZ when the flight flew BOS-MXP-FCO a lot of the passengers were booked BOS-MXP. Today I am sure AF,KL BA and LH all have convenient connections at their hubs for MXP from BOS. BCN seasonal might be a good add also.

I am a bit surprised DL has not considered SLC-TIJ, UA DEN or SFO-TIJ, AA PHX-TIJ even with rj's. WN perhaps OAK-TIJ or AS from PDX or SEA-TIJ. If my ageing brain cells remember correctly I believe Aero California flew LAX-TIJ.

I would ask why no ORD-MHT on AA? MHT is a bigger market than either BTV or PWM! UA with their rj's would allow AA to get the market with 2 E-175 flights a day.

When and if AY decides to expand in North America could a HEL-BOS seasonal service make sense for them to consider? Perhaps 3X or 4X weekly? I remember when they flew HEL-BOS for a few seasons with 757'S. I wished I took the opportunity to fly the route.

I am wondering if G4 might consider MHT? Not to end their service at PSM but to supplement it. MHT has had nonstop service on WN to both LAS and PHX in the past. I could see G4 operating 2 or 3 weekly to either destination. I could see PGD,PIE and SFD working from MHT 2Xor 3x weekly as well.

The TU-144 flew before the Concorde! Could it be said the Boeing planed SST be a copy as well? The TU-144 I believe was a Russian design.

What are the plans for IST after new airport opens? Couldn't TK use it for O&D routes to Europe,Middle East and Africa, while using the new airport as it's hub until additional runways are operational and terminal space allows all TK flights to operate from it?
