Coimbra, in center of Portugal, is the third city in Portugal (he has One of the oldest universities in the world) and does not have an airport (he has an airfield, CBP). Does only need to extend the RWY from 900m to 3000m and can put here FR and U2 doing flights here. I totally support the city ha...

I've seen huge queues at SVO passport control; these can be skipped if you're a ST E+.... ;) Otherwise, not much of a problem @ SVO. The airport is decent.

The airline is solid IMO. Except they change plane type a lot.

Well, I'm an American citizen and have family here. But I just returned to the US and the citizens, residents and esta line was very long. 55 minutes and that's with cutting in line so I could catch my flight, which I could still do unlike... most people there apparently. ATL F Would avoid the US ot...

Delta 757-300. Took off from MSP to SEA. 10-15 minutes later I notice we weren't very high and not climbing either. Then I see the destination on the IFE screen become "Minneapolis/St. Paul" rather than "Seattle". Sure enough, 5 minutes later the pilot announces we're going back ...

I wish people cared more about their appearance when traveling. Bathed, shaven or neatly groomed, tasteful makeup, well done hair, fresh breath, light colognes or perfumes, shoes shined or in otherwise good condition, clean pressed well fitting clothing, etc... Cathay Dragon (KA) operates flights beween HKG and CAN, which is 136km long and the average flight time is 32 mins. They serve a cold snake box in J cabin and a cookies in Y. I think Norwegian only accepts debit or credit cards for on-board purchases, and I believe everything (including water) needs to be paid for.

I am pretty sure I didn't have any plastic at 12, so keep that in mind.

Electric airplanes? I can't predict whether battery technology will progress enough, but if it does, then surely we will move away from jet fuel...

That said, they won't feel much different than current aircraft. Same terrible 3-3 configuration short haul and 3-X-3 long haul.

I hear that some funky aircraft, like 727s and maybe even some DC-3s operate as cargo ships in that part of the world.
