Re: Off to Tel Aviv tomorrow 12/10: UA90 aboard 77W

Hey everyone,
I haven’t had time to post my report- but I will upon my return

THANKS SO MUCH for all the tips. I clearly need to come back. While we crammed a lot in, I feel like we only scratched the surface. I loved Jerusalem and we are now off to Tel Aviv until we fly home Sunday night.

Re: United Fleet Upgrade Status - 2017

United has purchased 4 new 737-800SFP aircraft from Boeing which are set to be delivered starting in August of 2017. These planes will undergo induction and post-delivery modification at MIA. During this modification they will be installed with Scimitar Winglets and the LiveTV KA WiFi System. These...

Re: Why Does UA Struggle With Polaris Lounge Roll Outs?

Well, it sucks you didn’t get in. Being 1k should have done the trick. But I don’t think they (UA) ever published the criteria to get a reservation. Perhaps it was full? There are no Centurion lounges at EWR (at least in TC) and I take your word that they are great. Me thinks that United created Cla...

It's not really that long. Well within 767-range.

Then why waste a 787 when a 767 could do it? Plus a 767 is smaller and they could upguage later if demand increases?

As for the lounges, places like EWR C120 were a nightmare before the remodel, completely overcrowded, poor food choices, enjoy your hard earned stay. SFO was so good that people flooded Amex Centurion. If there's a message here for UA in regards to clubs it's that they need to up the price (or comp...

I fully expect the 737-10 to be able to fly transcon. I would also expect that flat bed seats can be installed (they could use the same seats as on the 757s or switch to the seats that FlyDubai is using). While a flat seat is heavier than a recliner, the reduced passenger count overall reduces the ...
