Re: Alaska / Hawaiian Air Merger Discussion

Just one question, if the demand for frequency is higher than what can be offered on mainline metal (these islanders use the plane like the bus, even some terminal areas are open air) - do you think Horizon Air could be utilized to increase frequency? Is the Embraer 175 capable of quick turnarounds...

HA Debuts Free Starlink Wi-Fi on A321 fleet

Hawaiian today became the world’s first major carrier to deploy Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency broadband internet after it debuted the service onboard one of its Airbus A321neo, N228HA, which flew from Honolulu to Long Beach. The carrier’s Wi-Fi, which is rolling out on select A321neo aircraft ...

Re: AS to acquire HA; operate as separate brand.

HA's current labor contracts state that aircraft and crews flying the main interisland routes between HNL, OGG, LIH, KOA and ITO must be mainline. I would assume that ALPA and AFA will both fight to keep these terms in their contracts, which will prevent QX E75 ops interisland.

Flight attendants need a break too, and there really isn't anywhere to go to take one away from your job on an airplane. You saw the cabin, everyone was settled in and the restrooms were not being blocked. The idea that people should be "ON" for 5 or 6 hours straight is ridiculous. During...
