Yup... Couldn't agree more.... For those that don't know, WN is no longer going to be serving PAE. WN's "slots" went to AS. Due to the Federal Government shutdown, there is a significant risk that the opening of PAE will be delayed until the government can get their heads out of their butts and reopen it.

I believe QX originally had 3 F-28-1000's (N801PH through N803PH). Then they got a handful of ex-USAir/Piedmont F-28-4000's. I got to fly on several of the F-28-4000's between BOI-SEA. They were pretty fun to fly!

I think if all the folks who grumble about Q400s and CR2s had been around when they were introduced, they would have praised them the way they praise E175s today. The original CRJ-100s (introduced 27 years ago!) were a great upgrade over the POS Saab 340s. Q400s are just outclassed from a customer ...

By what standard? It’s disliked by passengers, flight crews, and maintenance alike. It's dangerous to make all encompassing statements. For the type of aircraft it is, I have found the 400 to a comfortable, economical, and an efficient regional ride. If you want to talk about passenger "dislik...

To your point DAL sort of happened because of VX; it did not mean that the eastward expansion of AS would not have happened. If anything instead of SEA only, now u have SFO/SJC/LAX/SAN and PDX to the mix. OO and e175 is the recalibration after the VX merger. I would think both AUS and possibly HOU ...
