Could be troop movement - Canada has soldiers in Bosnia area as well as Middle East and Africa from time-to-time. Back in the "old" days when there really was a Canadian Army, CAF used to do the run from Trenton to Lahr on old 707s. Affectionately called "Service Air", at least by us groundpounders. Nothing like a nice steep takeoff with condensation leaking through the plane followed by stale biscuits and cheese for lunch!

The federal government bought them from Canadian Airlines after the Wardair merger when no one else wanted them. It was an indirect bailout to keep the airline afloat with some cash.

I remember they used the Airbus for flights at Trenton Air Cadet Camp...they took planeloads full of cadets on flights over Niagara Falls...great fun. However, our group was luckier and we got the Herc and they opened the loading ramp in flight  Smile/happy/getting dizzy
