Not really much between them, Rafale is a bit smaller and lighter, but apparently not cheaper.
Typhoon probably has the edge in supercruise, Rafale will enter service with an electrically-scanned radar, Typhoon will get one a few years down the road.
Rafale was designed to a requirement which included aircraft carrier capability, Typhoon was a more uncompromised design for air combat.

GDB-
I think you'll wrong. The Eurofighter is much more expensive than the Rafael. It cost a little less than a F-22(correct me if I'm wrong). Also I think the Rafael looks better than the Eurofighter. Big thumbs up

I don't have the prices to hand, but if Typhoon was anything like the price of F-22, the RAF would not be getting 232, and the other European airforces would have pulled out.

And the Super Hornet is even more expensive then Rafale is - and by far "weaker". Sometimes I wonder why the US Navy ordered Super Hornets (o.k. not really ... hehe ... french aircrafts on a US carrier ..  Big thumbs up ).
As far as I know (I'm not into this military stuff), Boeing plans to make the new Hornets more affordable. They probably get cheaper after the navy payed for them. Big grin
Those poor american tax payers....
