SU508 Needs To Be Banned

Tue Sep 25, 2001 1:34 am

This youngster doesn't seem to want to play by the rules. I think he needs to be banned or at least put on probation. See his posts for yourself....

I already read all of his posts about that topic and i posted my opinion. Su508 make a mistake but he make apologize .So if his only sin is that he thinks that ruaf rules and that russian armament is best MIke every man has a right to think whatever he wants [that's called democracy].BTW i suggest you to read duce50booms' and 767-332ER thoughts .How they sound to you?

I think what Duce50boom said was in direct retaliation to SU508's very incencitive remarks. At least he didn't shout or use foul language.

I do realize that every man and woman has opinions and should be free to express them, however, there are ways of expressing opinions in a manner so that nobody is personally offended. I wouldn't consider myself "sensitive" by any means, but I was deeply offended by SU508's remarks concering the events on 11 September 2001. Also, instead of posting the trash he posted today, he should have e-mailed the individuals he had a problem with.

I'm in no way justifying what SU508 said, but I don't see anyone suggesting that Duce50Boom and/or 767-322ER should be banned. I was also deeply offended by their comments.
BTW, what exactly was SU508's latest reply (It got deleted before I could see it)?

The best way to handle pricks like SU508 is to ignore them completely, they are not worth the bother!  Smile

(I allso think that many of last weeks posts have been placed to yank the chain of all US forum members Big grin )

MikeN
I found SU508's remarks to be offensive, so I have stopped reading his posts for the time being. I feel that part of the problem with his posts could be in the translation and I hope that, as his English gets better, so will they. Another part of the problem, in my opinion, is other people rising to the bait. If you ignore that sort of comment, it tends to go away. I have been reading posts in other forums on this site and was amazed at many of the comments that were passed.
I am not in favour of censorship, in a forum like this, over one subject, especially one as delicate and sensative as the one concerned. I hope that SU508 will realise that he has upset a number of people and moderate his thoughts and keep his posts to aviation matters.

Regards
Dave
