M-346 can carry a weapons load of 3000 kg.
Su-25 can carry 4400 kg. Plus M-346 needs gun pods, Su-25 has a gun already. So no, M-346 can't replace Su-25. It is better for Mkd to operate G4M (it can use AGM-65 & R-60 - Mkd doesn't need anti-ship missiles) and Su-25. Also it is cheaper.
I also think Mkd should acquire 10-12 MiG-21s and have them upgraded to MiG-21-93 (or MiG-21-2000).

Su-25 is greatest ground strike but g4 is a lousy trainer [compared with m-346,of course g4 is much older than m-346] but if you want to save money because of operating 1 aircraft it's cheaper than 2 why not?
You got an excellent [the best]jet armed trainer and if you don't want to go in some air battles [because all of your neighbours have good afs and you're peacefull right?] the M-346 will do?

Cube,

modernized G4M can carry all the weapons that M-346 can other than anti-ship missiles. Sure, it's not as great for training, but Mkd doesn't have F-16s, MiG-29s or Su-27s so doesn't need the extra training capability.

Well if you look at the new JSF which is around 40 mil$, 15 mil$ is not that much. For Western countries anyway. But if you compare it to F-16A which cost about 20 mil$ I believe then it's a 'bit' expensive.
I'll try to find the G4 price and post it.

The F-16A is not in production anymore (for about 15 years now), are you talking about a used one?

New falcon is something about 26 millions new gripen 20 so 15 millions for a trainer that's very expensive for any kind of country.

Well I was comparing it to the older-generation aircraft (yes I know F-16A is no longer in prod.) and in that respect it seems expensive, but if you compare to the newer generation aircraft it's not as expensive (like JSF - 40 mil$). But still I wouldn't buy it.

From what people tell me, a new G4 cost about 3 mil$ (back in 80s of course). The G4M can't be more than that if it's true, so I guess a G4M would be tops 5 mil$.

As far as I know, there is only one G4M (converted from a G4). It's marked as a testing aircraft.
Here's a picture:

You can tell a G4M from a G4 by the R-60 AA missiles mounted on the wingtips and by the AGM-65 Mavericks it can carry.
