Without looking at the other replies:

3.Name one fixed wing aircraft that the USMC fly?

Um, F/A-18, AV-8B, C-130...  Smile

7.Whats the 'Hokum'

Mi-28?

8.Name to countries apart from the US,that have the Apache in service or on order.

Britain, Netherlands, Israel, Egypt, Singapore...

10.What was the former name of the Indian aircraft carrier INS Viraat?

Admiral something Big grin, I know it was a Russian one.

11.Apart from India which other country in Asia has an aircraft carrier?

China

12.What does super-cruise mean?Name one aircraft that has this.

The ability to fly at supersonic speed without using the afterburner. F-22 Raptor.

13.Name one major difference between these two aircraft carriers:HMS Invincible and USS Enterprise.

The British (Invincible) are smaller than the American (Enterprise) and have the funny ramp to help launch Harriers.

14.What recently happened to the RNZAF?

The poor chaps lost their last A-4's, which means they are an air force without fighters.

15.What aircraft has a top speed of almost mach 3?

I'm assuming it's the MiG-25 Foxbat, although I thought it could go faster than M3

Now on to the real exams!  Big thumbs up

I am going to debate #2 with you.

Dowding was in charge of FIGHTER COMMAND only!

Harris waas in charge of BOMBER COMMAND.

Both where major commands within the RAF of course but neither man was in charge of the whole RAF as far as I know. Sorry can't think of the name of their superior.

In fact Dowding was sacked shortly after the end of the Battle of Britian. He retired halfway through the war after a stint in the states purchasing and evaluating lend-lease material for the Brits.

KA-35? It certainly isn't the "Hokum". It is actually the KA-50 (-52 is Hokum B).

THIS is the KA-35 (never built):

Harris did not take over Bomber Command until 1942.
Dowding was in effect in charge of the RAF during the Battle of Britain in 1940.
