Do warbirds count?
At worst, you screw up and die.

Well.....

USAF C-141, C-5
USMC KC-130, C-9, UH-1N, CH-53E, CH-46E
USN C-2A, C-9, T-34C, TH-57, CH-46D, SH-60B
US Army UH-1
Japanese C-2

Sims
F-18C MCAS El Toro
F-14A NAS Oceana (trapped on the carrier on the first try  Smile )

This doesnt' count, but I did get to vector a pair of RAAF F-111s in and coordinate it with arty SEAD missions, a very satisfying set of explosions when the two pairs of Mk-84 bombs to hit the target...

Cheers  Smile

I'll never forget my first. The good old Chipmonk.
I must have been about 14 and an air cadet. Even got to get hands on too.

Hi!

I had the chance of flying a few Portuguese Air Force airplanes, here goes mine:

1988/01/08 - DHC Chipmunck FAP Nr. 1317
1989/03/23 - SA330 Puma FAP Nr. 9502
1990/04/11 - SA330 Puma FAP Nr. 9503
1990/11/13 - TB30 Epsylon FAP Nr. 1409
1991/11/12 - Lockheed T-33A FAP Nr. 1928

The most striking flight was no doubt the FAP T-33A, when we flew it the plane was already 40 years old, it was not one of the early batches that came during the 50's and 60's, these where ex: Belgium Air Force. Sad thing about this was that a few months latter the pilot that flew with me had an accident with a T-38A Talon, a big bird crashed against the cockpit ( he was in the front seat ) and he lost an eye and had brain damage that since then became incapacitated, very sad.
