F-14 To F/A-18 Super Hornet Transition Questions.

Fri May 17, 2002 4:19 am

Does anyone know which squadrons are set to transfer from the F-14 to the F/A-18 E/F? I know that VF-14 and VF-41 have respectively transferred to the F/A-18E and F/A-18F. Which squadrons are next?

Does anyone know why there are dedicated squadrons of -18Fs? It seems as though there are too many of them just for training purposes. Why not just get all 2-seaters?
