Finally, proof that at least two other people (the poster and the photographer) grasp this concept! There is hope!  Big thumbs up

Which concept ? That Air Force One is only a callsign used by any USAF aircraft with the President on board ?

It's amazing how many people don't understand how this works. Wait, on second though, as a paleontologist, I run into this sort of rampant stupidity every day. I give huge props to the poster and photographer. Just look at this post in the general aviation forum and see what I mean.

LY744,

Ok I understand better now thanks  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Greg,

If you find that, please show me !!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

By the way, I took a pic @ Orly when President Bush was on visit at Paris, it shows both VC-25A 82-8000 & 92-9000 and VC-32A 99-0003 & 99-0004, parked together ! Rare sight I guess.

Look at "USAF Orly" photo.

Bush flew in a VC-32 when he gone to Caen, Normandy, so it was Air Force One during this flight.

USAFHummer,

I haven't seen any interior pictures that are available for dissemination, however, having had a walk-through in one of these I can tell you they are awesome inside.

The interior is divided into three different seating sections. As the pilot explained to me, the first section of oversized, plush seats is for the primary passenger's party. The second section is for staff members. The rear section (more seats, but smaller) is for members of the press.

There is also a private room for the primary passenger. It has a few seats, a bed and a private shower.

Hamfist, this may seem like a stupid question, but the reason I wanted to see pictures is because in my US Government textbook it has a picture people working on a plane, and the caption calls it the "vice presidents airplane"...but I noticed that the aircraft had overhead bins!...I was just wondering whether or not that really was the interior of a C-32 or not...

Thanks for the help,

Greg
