What Type Of A/c Military On?

Sat Apr 12, 2003 10:43 pm

I watched the CNN news TV that Jessica Lynch took the flight from Germany to USA today. What was type of aircraft military? It has 4 four engines and with wingtips. I have no idea name of a/c it is. Anyone can tell me what it is.

Thanks,

Hi

CNN's web site says it was a C-17 Globemaster, which also fits your description.

It was a C-17 which means it will have to hit a couple of tankers on the way across the atlantic, anything for a good photo op. They should have used a C-141 but they dont look as good on film.
