There's a lot of factors that determine admissions here. Grades and extra-curricular activities play a huge role though. Now I can't say for sure what chances he would have, as there are so many variables, but I would definately recommend he get that C average up to somewhere around a B+, try for over 1260 on the SAT
's, and definately get involved in some type of sport or something. I know my class' average GPA is like a 3.9 (although I had a 3.65) and average SAT
is like 1350 (although I had a 1300).. I was really involved in extra-curricular stuff (i.e. captain track team, clubs, community service etc...).
That being said, there are still quite a few people here that didn't have the best grades or SAT
scores.. nonetheless, they are still here and as long as they make it to graduation, SAT
