Vid Which I First Thought Was Boring ...

Sun Oct 26, 2003 4:19 am

.. on second thoughts, after having seen half of the video, I started to think it's nice (although it could still be better).

1) Download video (5.7 MB)
2) resize player to full screen
3) crank up volume
4) play video

 Big thumbs up

Thanks. I don't know when this was taken, but the video is new on http://www.fabulousfulcrums.de (English/German - very well worth a visit.) and weather isn't exactly good, so maybe it was taken in September or early October this year.
The only German air wing with MIGs is stationed at Laage AFB, close to Rostock and the Baltic Sea.

I do not think they were practicing for a display. It seems the video was taken by a former member of the air wing, and when he visits the AFB, pilots make a low fly-by to honor him.
